Now in its 5th year the annual Darling Brew Extreme attracts mountain bikers of the beer drinking variety. On the 26th of May they will be back and Darling Brewery has been kind enough to give us two entries to give away.
The Darling Brew Extreme consists of four different route options that make use of a combination of single track, jeep track and farm roads in and around Darling:
- Bone Crusher (70km)
- Long Claw (50km)
- Blood Serpent (30km)
- Slow Beer (15km)
Whether you’re a seasoned racing snake or a “haven’t seen my bike in 6 months” type of cyclist there is something for you. Last year we rode the Long Claw and had a cracking time. Crossing the finish line and being handed a cold beer really adds to the experience. And, while a finish line beer is always good, if you decide to do the Bone Crusher you will be rewarded with an ice-cold brew 5km to the finish. Just a little something to motivate you for those last few kms.
