Tops at Spar Bierfest Partners With CBC

A couple of weeks ago we were invited along to the Cape Brewing Company in Paarl for a “big announcement.” They had been dropping less than subtle clues online for a couple of weeks so we had a pretty good idea of what we were in for. And, sure enough, the big announcement was that the Tops at Spar Bierfest would be partnering with CBC. Their reason for this, they wanted to “put the true meaning of ‘bier’ back into Bierfest”. We were treated to lunch, ze Beer Olympics (see video) and obviously beer. It was a tremendous outing. 

The Bierfest brings with it the most authentic traditional Bavarian experience possible. Now in their 8th year they will have table-side games, a smorgasbord of activity booths and live bands. There will be a completely revamped brauhaus interior that will transport festivalgoers into the town square of Biervaria, where they can enjoy no less than eleven delicious beers on tap and a range of ciders from Rekorderlig. From a traditional Oktoberfest brew to a Raspberry Weiss, right up to their Brewmaster’s Reserve Dunkel, CBC will be throwing everything at it.

We spent Friday at the @capebrewingco to hear about their new partnership with the @sabierfest. Festival goers will be treated to 10 CBC brews while taking part in the #beerolympics.
