Friday Beer – Jack Black's Original Brewers Lager

It’s Thursday evening, you’ve managed to get out of the office with a few colleagues to appreciate everything that has happened over the past week (good and bad). You get home feeling good about the people you work with, the stuff you do, where you work and that in this day and age you’re employed at all. It’s all what you might call a “big fat win”. So, just before you plant yourself on the couch you reach out for a beer that makes you happy without being over the top. It just happens to be the Jack Black’s Original Brewers Lager.

Jack Black's Original Brewers Lager

We have frequently been caught up in “new and interesting”, and we’re very sorry about that. Sometimes what you really need is old ye faithful. A consistent supply of straight up good beer. And in South Africa, for the vast majority “good beer” translates to Lager. We fully expect to get flack from the “craft beer” advocates on this beer. In fact we would be disappointed if we didn’t, but the truth of the matter is that Jack Black’s Brewery is partially owned/run by Namibian Breweries and Heineken.

You might know them from beers such as Windhoek, Heineken, Amstel, Tafel, etc. None known for poor quality by any stretch of the imagination. So now, Jack Black’s Brewery with the help of that level of experience, well it can only go well. And it does. Jack Black’s Original Brewers Lager is good. Not one Lager good but three or four Lager good. So, head out and do what the weekend is asking for. Buy a 6-pack or even a case. It’s not going to be around for long and you will be glad that you did.
